Short Description
This is an article by Dr. Ragheb Elsergany giving glad tidings to Egyptians so long as they adhere to many pledges. What are they?
O Allah! We ask You to reinstate Morsi and make him safe, victor, empowered and reassured.
This is the invocation of all the righteous people in Egypt and the states of the Islamic world. The well mannered prof. was not only an elected president betrayed by his subordinates, the army and the police, the media and the judiciary, rather he represents for us all the start of the great Islamic project, the aspiration of the Islamic movement for decades.
O Allah! We ask You to reinstate Morsi and make him safe, victor, empowered and reassured.
How could it be possible for prof. Morsi to be reinstated?
He will be reinstated, Allah willing, if we concluded two pledges with Allah the Almighty decisively.
The first pledge: if Allah Almighty reinstated prof. Morsi and his government, we would make the state like the example of the Prophet’s state, as it differs extremely to our perceptions on forming the state, which I have detailed earlier for many times in my previous lectures, especially “Pyramid State-Building Theory” and uploaded at islamstory website in the form of Friday sermon, a program aired by satellite channels and a lecture delivered at a conference, and soon it will be written in an article, Allah willing.
The Prophetic building for his Muslim nation was not primarily for a better livelihood and the like. I know that people want that, however, Allah Almighty does not want that from his Servants. To demonstrate, when Allah mentioned the state of the disbelievers, transgressors, and the libertine, He (SWT) said: (Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.), Al-Hijr, 3.
The justification of the Islamic movement through the past year was that people are not accustomed to talk Shari`ah, so they aspired to gain the satisfaction of people through providing them with basics of life; food, drink, fuel and money. After offering these things, they may present Islam for people. Accordingly, disregarding Islam from our formal speeches and courses was the main reason, and thus we became like any other reformative government at any un-Islamic state. The promises were only to achieve material improvements.
I do believe that this is not the prophetic approach
I am sure about the good intentions, however, it is not enough, rather, it is a must to go in line with the Sunnah of the Prophet, which was declaring Islam very the very moment and at every stage, without graduation.
O Allah! I have informed them
O Allah! You are my witness
Our task is to make people worship Allah properly, and we must declare this goal frankly through our political speeches, media, reformative programs, negotiations, and discussions.
We aspire to enforce Shari`ah, so we endeavored to rule. Therefore, if rule is to be feed people in this life only, then we do not want it. We must explain for people the blessing of enforcing Shari`ah, and we may reassure them that it may be gradually, but eventually it must take place.
This may take months or very few years.
People must realize that if the ordained punishments were to be applied, bullying will no more be spread as seen, and this is the task of our politicians and scholars. People must know that if they stop dealing with usury, they would not subject to the wrath of Allah and His Messenger. People must know that if Zakat is to be paid, the blessing of Allah would befall our wealth and life generally. People must know that if media adhere to the Shari`ah rulings, no seditions would occur in streets.
I know that these words, as some hold, do not satisfy people. However, we tried to satisfy people, and disregarding taking about Islam, and making indirect intimations for enforcing Shari`ah, so what was the outcome? Did people become satisfied?!
People are not satisfied and will not be so. Perhaps He is Allah who made them dissatisfied, because we made priority to what pleases people over what pleases Allah. We spent time, wealth and programs preparing for what pleases people, however, we tackled things pleasing Allah inconsiderably.
I know that graduation approach is important, and I know that the world will oppose us. However, I draw your attention to the biography of the Prophet and how he built a nation. The Prophet never left an occasion from the very beginning unless he spoke about Islam, making Allah the dominant of our affairs, resurrection and reckoning, and connecting the deeds of people with paradise and fire, though people at that time were mixture of believers, Jews, and polytheists.
Second: what more would the world do against you?
Is there a more fierce war against Islam that today?
My dear Muslims! Do not waste time in mental diligence contradicting the way of the Prophet as afflicts you with the loss only.
Declare it publically: Islamization
As the clock ticks towards new elections, at least, parliament, what can we say to people? What are our goals behind candidacy and rivalry for rule?
Conclude a covenant with Allah to say: we want to enforce Zakat, ban usury, enforce all the ordained punishments, and to apply the Quran and Sunnah to our streets, activities, media and etc. feeling no fear from people inside or outside.
Hurry to this pledge and die in this state
This is our first pledge with Allah, namely the charge we bore, when Allah offered it to us (Indeed, we offered the Trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, and they declined to bear it and feared it; but man [undertook to] bear it. Indeed, he was unjust and ignorant.), Al-Ahzab, 72
O Allah! We ask You to reinstate Morsi and make him safe, victor, empowered and reassured.
For the second pledge with Allah; beware of dispersion, because the Islamic state can never be founded on disagreements through satellite channels and before people who weigh Islam through these quarrelling figures.
Let us make a ledge with Allah not to be dispersed by our parties and political movements, we all must be in unity as one Muslim man.
It is a temporal life, so let it be only for the sake of Allah, give priority to the advantages of your brethren over yours, and be informed that intimacy amongst you is better than all possessions on earth.
I believe that if we stick sincerely to these two pledges, Allah would restore our dominance and more.
How is that? I do not know, however, Allah Almighty knows best! (Say, "O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent.) Al-`Emran, 26.
Allah (SWT) would inevitably manage when He sees a people stick to the two pledges, and this does not need a long time, however, it will be soon, Allah willing.
Our president Morsi will be reinstated, Allah willing!
O Allah! We ask You to reinstate Morsi and make him safe, victor, empowered and reassured.
The most important is that Allah will be satisfied with us and make us satisfied.
