The soldiers, who had already terrorized the inhabitants of the earth, started to fall as flies on the ground of Baysaan.
The Muslims put an end to the myth of the invincible army.
The flag of Islam rose high, whereas the flag of the Tatars fell.
It was the moment for which the Muslims had been waiting for over 40 years.
{And that day the believers will rejoice In the Victory of Allaah. He Gives victory to whom He Wills, and He Is The Exalted in Might, The Merciful.} [Quran 30:4-5]
Do you know how many of the Tatars remained after the Battle of ‘Ayn Jaaloot?
The Tatar army was completely exterminated.
None of the army survived. Have you ever heard about the like of this?
The army that invaded almost half the globe had perished.
The army that shed the blood of millions, ruined hundreds of cities and caused mischief on earth had perished.
The great Islamic army emerged victorious.
Congratulations to you O Muslims for this great victory!
Congratulations to you O Qutuz! It is time to collect the fruits.
{And victory is not but from Allaah.} [Quran 8:10]
What did Qutuz, May Allaah Have mercy upon him, do when he saw the groups of the Tatars falling dead on the blessed ground of Beesaan?
The great Mujaahid, pious righteous hero dismounted from his horse and rolled his face in the ground, and prostrated himself out of gratitude to Allaah the Almighty.
He neither entertained the arrogance of the victors, nor raised his head with the vanity of the haughty, nor felt that he had done anything.
All virtue and favor are due to Allaah the Almighty; it is He who conferred His favor upon him, by Choosing him to be a Mujaahid, making him firm, and inspiring him with the wisdom of fighting and the right opinion. It is He who guided him to the right path.
