The Ottoman state withdraws from four Ottoman forts which were in Serbia Emirate including Belgrade Fort which Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent conquered 345 years earlier.
French Expedition Heads for Egy

The French military expedition led by Napoleon Bonaparte leaves the French Port of Tolon heading for Egypt. The expedition comprised of 35000 soldiers in 300 ships including 55 warships.
Sistova Treaty Held
4th of Zul Hejja, Year 1205 AH/ August 4th, 1791 AD:
The Ottoman State hammers out the treaty of Sistova with Germany to end the war between them. The treaty comprised of 14 provisions and continued for three years. By virtue of this treaty , the Germans also withdrew from Belgrade after they occupied it for one year and ten months; so that it would be the last German Ottoman war in history.

He was born, brought up and educated in Egypt and wrote many books foremost among which are Earab el Qu'ran and Sharhul Moallakat.

He was an authority in investigating heritage books in the Arab world. He conducted an investigative research to a number of Arabs ' heritage before he published them. He also wrote in the investigative research and its history, with all his writings, however, being characterized by an exciting way of study. Some of his articles featured in some Arab periodicals.
US Ceases Fire with Vietnam

The US reaches a ceasefire pact with the north Vietnamese revolutionists which provided for the withdrawal of the American forces from south Vietnam within two months. By the end of March, the last American soldier had withdrawn from Vietnam after ten years of fighting. In this war, Washington lost about 60000 lives.

She gave lectures in several Arab world universities, ;she left behind a huge scientific and literal heritage of about forty books.

University in India. He called for the reawakening of Muslims and stressed the necessity of education. He had some religious opinions in some issues which he went against the consensus of Muslim legal scholars, which prompted some scholars to label his as infidel.
Death of Abu Ja'far Al-Mansur
6th of Thul Hejja Year 158 AH/ October 7th, 775 AD: Death of Abdullah Ibn Mohammed Ibn Ali, alias Abu Jaafar el Mansour the real founder of the Abbasid state who was able to establish his state and its institutions and crush all the seditions and rebels which were staged against it. He was characterized by efficiency, capability and organization, characteristics which worked in favor the state and its affairs. Of his greatest works was the establishing of the city of Baghdad to eventually take it as a capital of the caliphate.

7th of Thul Hejja Year 1425 AH/ January 17th, 2005 AD: The Egyptian parliament discusses draft law of ten points to develop al Azhar, foremost among which was the election of the grand sheikh of Azhar through the scholars of the Islamic Research Council which has taken the place of former Senior Scholars Association.
Sadat Assassinated

7th of Thul Hejja Year 1401 AH/ October 6th, 1981 AD: Assassination of Egyptian president Mohammed Anwar el Sadat during the military parade which was held marking the eighth anniversary of October war. The assassination was perpetrated by a number of army personnel affiliated to the Jihad organization topped by Khaled al Islambully who was the mastermind of the operation.
