1st Abbas-Sahron Summit Held

29th of Zul Hejja,1425 AH/ February 8th, 2005 AD: Holding the first summit between Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon in presence of the Egyptian president and the Jordanian monarch in the Egyptian coastal town of Sharm el Sheikh. At this summit, both Abbas and Sharon announced the stop of "acts of violence", with Egypt and Jordan pledging to reinstate their respective ambassadors to Israel.

30th of Zul Hejja, 1332 AH/ November 18th, 1914 AD: Death of Shebly el Nomany, a notable Indian Muslim scholar in the modern age and one of the icons of the European scientific renaissance. He worked a professor at Aligarh Muslim University( AMU), and was a promoter for and advocate of Islamic . He participated in founding the Nadwat al Ulema Library and University in the Indian city of Linko.

30th of Zul Hejja, 979 AH/ May 25th, 1571 AD: Pope Pious IV concludes a pact with Spanish king Philip Charles Quaint as well as other Christian states to wage a war against the Ottoman state. It was the thirteenth Christian pact hammered out but Christian Europe against the Ottoman state.
