Persians established a great civilization that included large areas of the world and shared the Romanian civilization the rule of the world. The Persian civilization flourished in politics, war and luxury, and then fell after they had worshiped fire to the exclusion of Allah (Exalted and Glorified be He). Roman civilization was one of the greatest civilizations of the ancient world. The world was divided among the Roman and Persian civilizations. The areas that came under the Roman rule were subject to forms of pressure and humiliation, thus undermining innovation and thought and thus prompting its fall. When Christianity became its official religion, the church closed the door of knowledge and innovation, debate spread, social inequalities ran rampant, and women were in a humiliating status.
   

Arabs Before Islam

The religion of the pre-Islamic Arabs was dangerously deteriorated. They used to worship idols, drink wine, commit adultery, eat usury and kill little girls alive (female infanticide), not to mention other social discrepancies that turned them into a nation without a bright history or shining civilization, despite some good traits, such as pride, chivalry, courage, memorization, power of memory, love of equality, loyalty, honesty.

The Glorious Qur'an is the constitution of the Muslim society that did not leave a small or big thing uncovered while the Sunnah of the Prophet forms the factual explanation and the practical practice of the rules of the Qur'an.

The most distinguishing feature of the Islamic civilization is that it was founded on the absolute oneness of Allah. So, man does not submit to anyone else, nor does he worship any god else. Allah is the absolute ruler who drafts laws and legislation for people. All His creatures are equal like the teeth of a comb. Therefore, the worldly life is a farm for the afterlife.

Abu Dharr somehow got angry with the freed slave of Abu Bakr, Bilal of Abyssinia. Both of them were Companions of the Prophet [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him]. The altercation became prolonged and Abu Dharr in his fury called Bilal "the son of a black skinned mother".
