26th of Shaaban Year 1324 AH/ October 15th, 1906 AD: Coming out of Fatat Asharq ( Girl of The East) Magazine which was edited by Labiba Hashem. The magazine is regarded most well known Arab, feminist one at the time, and it continued publication until it stopped in 1939.

27th of Shaaban 1364 AH/ August 6th 1945 AD: The American bomber Enola Gay drops an atomic weapon on Hiroshima, Japan, destroying a majority of the city and killing 60,000 to 70,000 inhabitants, according to American estimates.

   

Abeid Karume Stages a Coup

27th of Shaaban Year 1383 AH/ January 12th, 1964 AD: Abeid Karume stages a coup against Jamshid bin Abdullah of Zanzibar, currently a city in Tanzania, which was under the Ottoman rule. Karume declared the establishing of the republic after this coup in which 16000 Arabs and a large number of Muslims were killed.

Death of Kobrolo Zada

27th of Shaaban Year 1087 AH/ November 3rd, 1676 AD: Death of Ottoman Prime Minister Kobrolo Zada Fadhel Ahmed Pasha at an age of 41 and after a term in office as a prime minister for 15 years. This man is the youngest prime minister in the Ottoman state, as he assumed this post when he was 24 years of age.

This law fuelled resentment in some circles of the state since it showed imitation of the Europeans 's style of dress.

He is the author of the marvelous history books, with the history of Islam inspiring most of his literal novels. Of his masterpieces are the History of Islamic Urbanization, and the History of Arabic Literature.

28th of Shaaban Year 456 AH/ July 15th ,1064 AD: Death of noted Imam and Muslim scholar Mohammed Ibn Hazm, one of the icons of Islamic sciences in the fifth hegira century. He authored numerous books in Fiqh, history and a comparative analysis of religions, foremost among which are al Mohalla in Fiqh and beliefs , All Fesal Fil Melal wa Al Nehal in other religions and creeds, Ihkam Al Ahkam in fundamentals of the religion of Islam, and the Arab genealogy.
 

Arafat Elected as PLO Chairman

He investigated scores of books of heritage in the area of literature and linguistics, foremost among which Animal which was authored by al Gahez, The Book by Sibawai, and Magazine of Literature by Al Baghdady.
 

Mousa Tarawry Stages a Coup in Mali

28th of Shaaban Year 1338 AH/ November 19th, 1968 AD: Lieutenant Mousa Tarawry stages a military coup in Mali against president Modibokita and establishes himself a president of the country and suspends the constitution. He continued to rule until he was overthrown in March 1991, and Ahmado Toomany took over.
   

First Arab Summit Held in Cairo

Universal Postal Union Treaty Signed

F A Sellal Brodom in Arts.
   

Britain Recognizes Independence of East Jordan

Hosni Al Zaeem Stages a Coup in Syria

29th of Shaaban Year 1368 AH/ March 30th, 1949 AD: Colonel Hosni al Zaeem stages the first military coup in Syria in March 1949, but he did not last long, as a counter coup was staged against him in August 1949, and he was eventually executed one day after the coup.
