1st of Shaaban 900 AH/ April 27th , 1495 AD: Birth of Ottoman Sultan Suleiman el Kannony, the tenth sultan in the Ottoman dynasty. His reign was known as the most prosperous one in the Ottoman state history, with the state then outreaching vast areas worldwide and prospering arts and architecture. His period of rule was 46 lunar years. He died in 974 AH/ 1566 AD.

He was succeeded by his vice president Linden Johnson.

3rd of Shaaban 1236 AH/ May 5th, 1821 AD : Death of known French leader Napoleon Bonaparte in his exile in Saint Helena. Napoleon was born on August 15th , 1769 in the Italian Island of Corsica. He achieved numerous victories in his wars in Europe. He was elected emperor of France on May 8th 1804. He died after suffering from cancer in his stomach, and then he was buried in The Dome Church in Paris.
