This above headline of this chapter seems weird especially in the eyes of people whose ultimate goal in life is only to make a student or merely a knowledge seeker. Such latter people with modest ambitions will surely be too weak to be scientists, and they would rather revitalize their efforts if they seek to be scientists before it is too late, and the regret then will be futile.

Since knowledge is the greatest bounty of the highest degree, and since it is the legacy which the prophets left behind and recommended as the road to Janna (Paradise), then it requires a great effort and sacrifice, given that no gains without pains and no sweet without sweat.

For the one who wants to be a scholar, observing time is a prerequisite to realize this great mission. It is also one of the mainstays of Islam and a great value for civilization. Therefore, Islam has given time a special care and urged its followers to invest it in whatever benefits them both in spiritual and material terms.

In the previous chapters we examined three issues which are, among others, a prerequisite for nurturing scholars, mainly observing the high status which scholars have held either in the sight of religion or in the eyes of people, sacrifice and sufferings while seeking knowledge, and thirdly observing the value of time and exploiting every minute in life for the cause of knowledge.

We feel happy, admiration and pride when we hear of a great scholar who has mastered in a specific field of science, and our happiness doubles when it turns out that the this scholar is a devoutly Muslim one seeking reform and benefits for the Nation.
