1st of Jumada Al Akher 379 AH/ September 6th, 989 AD: Death of noted linguist and man of letters Abu Bakr al Zubaidy, an authority in Arabic grammar, linguistics and literature in Andalusia, who authored the books Lahnul Aamma "Common Mistakes", and Tabakat el Nahweyeen Wal Loghaweyeen " Who is Who in Grammar and Linguistics ". he was also the teacher of the would- be – Caliph Hisham Ibn el Hakam.

1st of Jumada Al Akher 1358 AH/ July 18th, 1939 AD: Sheikh Hassan el Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood Movement, republishes al Manar Magazine which was formerly published by sheikh Mohammed Rasheed Redha. The magazine lasted for 14 months only then it stopped.

1st of Jumada Al Akher 1362 AH/ June 5th, 1943 AD: The holding of the first conference of its kind on cooperatives in Egypt. The conference was under chaired by Fuad Serajuddin the then minister of social affairs. Mansoura was chosen as one of the first towns where guilds were established. This conference played a key role in issuing the "Law on Cooperatives" in May 1944.

2nd of Jumada al Akher 1350 AH/ September 15th, 1931 AD: Algerian journalist Abul Yakzan Ibrahim publishes Al Nour Newspaper of which 78 issues only were published before it stopped. Abul Yakzan was one of the members of the Algerian Muslim Ulema Society, and he devoted himself to authorship after he left journalism, leaving behind more than 60 books and paper researches which enriched the Arab and Islamic library.

It was a Marxist biweekly magazine, then it became a weekly one, with prominent contributors writing in it, topped by Abdul Rahman Al Sharqawi , Noman Ashoor and Ali Al Raee. It stopped publishing on July 11th, 1946 .
