The Black Stone: In The Gospel, Torah and Psalms

The Black Stone, the corner stone of the Ka`bah, was put by Ibrahim, peace and blessings be upon him, as a sign or symbol of being the corner stone in the Kingdom of Allah. This is referred to in the Psalms.  

The Cave of Hiraa

This cave is the sanctum of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the place of His devotions and meditations, and the sacred spot where the Qur'an began to be revealed. The cave is situated on Jabal An-Nur (the Mountain of Light) on the way to Mina, only 2 miles (3.2 kilometers) from Makkah.  

The Enclosure of Isma`il

The Hijr (Enclosure) of Isma`il, peace and blessings be upon him, encompasses the place between the northern and the western corners of the Ka`bah. Its floor is covered with marble and it covers about 17 cubits.

Allah's Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, touched the Yamani Corner. Then he made three rounds circumambulating around the Ka`bah hastily and made the other four walking.

The Rebuilding of the Ka`bah

(Before the advent of Islam) Allah, Most High, protected the Sacred House and Quraish (the Pagans) maintained and shouldered the responsibility of watering thirsty pilgrims until the time had come that Quraish were forced due to several circumstances to rebuild the Ka`bah.  

The Prophet Performs `Umrah

According to Imam Muslim in his Sahih, Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, stated that Allah's Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, performed four `Umrahs.
