24th of Zul Hejja, 1133 AH/ October 5th, 1821 AD: The Greek revolutionaries perpetrate a heinous massacre against the Turks in the city of Tripoli. The massacre claimed the lives of about 8000 civilians during the Greek
revolution against the Ottoman state.
