Don't Miss Ramadan's First Night

My people (Ummah) are granted five gifts that no prophet before me had been given. First, when it is the first night of Ramadan, Allah looks at His servants. He will never punish those at whom He looks.

Explanation of Surah Al-Qadr

Allah, Most High informs us that He sent down the Qur'aan in the night of Al-Qadr, and it is the blessed night referred to in the Words of Him, Almighty, All-Powerful.  

How to Seek Laylatul-Qadr

Laylat ul-Qadr is the most blessed night. A person who misses it has indeed missed a great amount of good. If a believing person is zealous to obey his Lord and increase the good deeds in his record, he should strive to encounter this night and to pass it in worship and obedience. If this is facilitated for him, all of his previous sins will be forgiven.

Peace Until Fajr

"...and how would you know (the value of the) Night of Qadr. So valuable is this Night of Qadr that the Quran devotes a special surah to it. Lailatul Qadr is better than a thousand months.  

Remaining Steadfast After Ramadan

Sufyaan ibn `Abdillaah radhiallahu `anhu said: "O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about Islam, which I cannot ask anyone else besides you." He said: "Say: 'I believe in Allah' and then be steadfast (upon that)."

Zakatul-fitr

AllahZakatul-Fitr is a type of sadaqah which must be paid by every Muslim, young and old, male and female, free and slave, at the end of the month of fasting (Ramadan).  

Reciting the Qur'an in Ramadan

Recite the Qur'an for indeed it will come on the Day of Judgment as an intercessor for its Ashaab (those who read, memorize and implement it).  

Performing Umrah in Ramadan

Allah, The Almighty, urged His slaves to race to do good deeds, which may bring them closer to Him in an attempt to gain His reward and forgiveness. This is indicated by the verses.  

Night Prayer During Ramadan (Tarawih)

I'tikaf

One of the many observances that are related exclusively to Ramadan, particularly to its last ten days, is I'tikaf. The basic aim of I'tikaf is that the salve continued at the door of the Almighty, i.e.; in the corner of a mosque, cutting himself aloof from the world and devoting his time wholly to prayer and worship.
