3rd of Shaaban 1236 AH/ May 5th, 1821 AD : Death of known French leader Napoleon Bonaparte in his exile in Saint Helena. Napoleon was born on August 15th , 1769 in the Italian Island of Corsica. He achieved numerous victories in his wars in Europe. He was elected emperor of France on May 8th 1804.
