5th of Zul Hejja, Year 1419 AH/ March 23rd, 1999 AD: Death of notable scholar and Arab investigative researcher Mahmoud Mohammed el Tanahy. He was an authority in investigating heritage books in the Arab world. He conducted an investigative research to a number of Arabs ' heritage before he published them. He also wrote in the investigative research and its history, with all his writings, however, being characterized by an exciting way of study. Some of his articles featured in some Arab periodicals.
