16th of Zul Hejja,Year 1089 AH/ January 29th, 1679 AD: Death of notable historian Abdul Hai Ibn Ahmed Ibn Mohammed el Akary al Salehy, alias Ibn el Emad el Hanbaly. He was born in Damascus and excelled in the Fiqh of the Hanbali mazhab besides being knowledgeable of the science of his time. But his fame rested on his book" Shazarat el Zahab Fi Akhabr Man Zahab"
