Cease-Fire Agreement between U.S and Vietnam

On
6th of Dhul-Hijjah 1392 AH/ 23rd of January 1973AD, the
United States arrived at an agreement for a cease-fire with the North
Vietnamese rebels, which calls for the withdrawal of U.S. troops from South
Vietnam in two months. However, before the end of March, the U.S. troops withdrew ultimately from Vietnam. Fighting lasted for between the parties for 10 years
during which Washington lost 60 thousand people.
