Breaking into the Porte

On
14th of Safar 1331 AH/ 23rd of January 1913 AD, a group
of Promotion and Union Members broke into the headquarters of the Porte, the
centre of the turkish ministry headship to force the ottoman sultan Muhammad
Rashad to appoint Mahmud Shawkat Pasha as a Premier and Minister of the
Interior.
