16th of Zul Hejja,Year 1349 AH/ May 3rd, 1931 AD: Birth of Egyptian poet Salah Abdul Saboor in Zagazig , Sharkeya, north of Egypt. He wrote a number of poetic plays foremost among which is Al Haggag Tragedy, that he wrote in 1965, besides four others poetic plays. He died in 1981.
