12th of Dhul-Hijjah 1305 AH/ August 20th 1888 AD: Birth of Mohammad Hussein Heikal (1888 – 1956). He was a modern journalist, novelist, and a well know political figure. Heikal finished his studies in law in Sorbonne University. Most notable works of his are 'Zaynab', a novel, 1914, The life of Egyptian and western personalities, 1929, The life of Muhammad, 1933, The Farouk (the decisive) Omar, 1945, and The truthful Abubakr.
