Birth of Arab scholar Abu el Raihan Mohamed Ibn Ahmed Al Bairoony, an encyclopedic Arab scholar in the fields astronomy, arithmetic, geography and geology. He wrote over 120 books, foremost among which are Al Kanoon el Masoody( Masoody 's Law), Al Athar Al Bakeya(Relics of the Past) , and Saidana fi el Teb (Pharmacy in medicine).
