2nd of Ramadan 114 AH/ October 26th, 732 AD: The Battle of Tours, in Arabic "Balaá¹ Al-Shuhada'" (Court of The Martyrs), was fought in an area between the French cities of Poitiers and Tours. The battle that pitted Frankish forces under Charles Martel against an army of Muslims led by Abdul-Rahman Al-Ghafiqi lasted for ten days beginning from the last days of Shaabn. However, the battle ended with none of both parties victorious. Anyway, Muslims withdrew their forces at night.
