11th of Dhul-Hijjah 1410 AH/ July 5th 1990 AD: Egypt, Syria, Sudan and Libya sign a treaty to the effect of establishing an organization that is to achieve integration and progress as regards scientific and technological research. The organization should be based in Tripoli.
