Dr. Alfredo Maiolese embraced Islam as he was in Saudi Arabia and now is seeking to improve the image of Islam in the Western world.
Maiolese, a Genovese converted to Islam, is a well known figure in Genoa and is also an ambassador of International Parliament for Safety and Peace. In the past some of his words aired on Arab televisions were followed by more than 300 million listeners around the world . Only a few months ago, Maiolese, was the organizer of the World Day of friendship between Catholics and Muslims held at Commenda Prè.
