On 2nd of
Rabie` Al-Awal 1367 AH/ 18th of January 1948 AD, Imam Mohammad Ma`mun Al-Shenawi
occupied the post of sheikhdom of Al-Azhar Mosque. He ranked thirty two in the
form of Al-Azhar sheikhs.
